The SOL-IT Cubes® are so versatile, adaptable, expandable – simply dynamic. And we know that. That’s why our team is constantly developing and optimising the Cubes. Each release hides new surprises that we naturally don’t want to keep from you.

With the new release 2025.02 we present again many, new features which will make your work with the SOL-IT Cubes® much easier.

Link Emails sent to yourself to your own Inbox

Email messages that you send to yourself can now be placed in your own inbox after being retrieved from the email server.

Note for administrators:
This setting can be enabled or disabled on a user-specific basis via the email account management. To do this, open the “Administration / Email / Manage Email Accounts” menu and double-click on the desired email account. Then enable the “Emails, emails sent to yourself, are also placed in your own inbox” checkbox. To do this, open the “Administration / Email / Manage Email Accounts” menu and double-click on the desired email account. Then activate the checkbox „Place emails that the user sends to themselves in their inbox.

Internal Inbox for Cubes Messages

After being sent, Cubes messages are also placed in the user’s (standard) inbox.

In the emailCube module, below the “Inbox” folder, there is an “Internal Inbox” folder where Cubes messages from the user’s inbox are displayed.

This serves to better distinguish between external messages (emails) and internal messages (Cubes messages).

In addition, you can remove Cubes messages from the internal inbox using the “Remove from Inbox” command in the toolbar. This allows you to keep track of processed messages without disconnecting the message from the user.

Optimized Full-Text Search for Documents and Emails

Previously, entries were searched until the hit limit was reached. After the authorization check, only valid objects to which you had access rights were displayed. This resulted in a difference between the number of hits and the number of documents displayed.

This has been improved so that results are automatically reloaded until the hit limit is reached.

Link2Sign: Rotating Images and improving Text Box Positioning

Inserted signatures and stamps can be rotated using an anchor above the image. This allows the image to be rotated on the PDF by holding down the left mouse button until the desired angle is achieved.

If a text field is also inserted using the toolbar, this field is positioned at the location specified by the user.

Other extensive additional functions (features) can be licensed and obtained from us for a small cost. Detailed descriptions and offers can be requested under vertrieb@sol-it.at.

The Future begins: Our new SOL-IT App: Suite

We are currently developing a comprehensive app suite for you that will make your work even easier, more efficient, and more flexible. It will provide certain basic functions that will serve as the basis for the “SOL-IT Suite Projects”, “SOL-IT Suite Construction Management”, and „SOL-IT Suite Customer“ collections within the SOL-IT App: Suite.

We will gradually transfer a number of functions and processes that were previously mapped in mobileCubes to the SOL-IT App: Suite, where they will be optimized and made available in the future. The goal is to seamlessly connect workflows, strengthen collaboration, and make the overview of your projects, data, and communication even more efficient.

With the SOL-IT App: Suite, we are creating a solution that not only supports your daily work, but also makes it easier in the long term.

Link2Sign: Smart Document Sharing & Digital Signature

Link2Sign maps the entire signing process digitally and without passing it on to third parties (e.g. cloud), starting with the dispatch of the document to the storage of the signed document in the SOL-IT Cubes®.

The recipient receives a link to the document, which redirects directly to a SOL-IT Cubes-owned® website, where the document is made available for signature. The signed document is then stored as a new version in the dms environment of the SOL-IT Cubes®. Sender and receiver can be informed about the progress of the process.

Link2Sign thus ensures that you retain full control over your documents and business records, because the document does not leave your company during the entire process.

If necessary, PIN authentication can also be set for the recipient as an additional security measure. With PIN authentication, the recipient receives an SMS with a PIN to the mobile phone number stored in the SOL-IT Cubes®.

In addition, the document signed by the recipient can also be automatically sent to the recipient as a download link by email. To do this, the recipient must be selected with his mobile phone number and e-mail address when sending Link2Sign.
