The SOL-IT Cubes® are so versatile, adaptable, expandable – simply dynamic. And we know that. That’s why our team is constantly developing and optimising the Cubes. Each release hides new surprises that we naturally don’t want to keep from you.

With the new release 2026.01 we present again many, new features which will make your work with the SOL-IT Cubes® much easier.

We would like to give you a small overview. You can find more detailed information about the new release here (Document available only in German).

Link emails sent to yourself in your own inbox

Email messages that you send to yourself can now be placed in your own inbox after being picked up from the email server.

Note for administrators:
This setting can be enabled or disabled on a user-specific basis via the management of the e-mail accounts.
To do this, open „Administration / Email / Manage Email Accounts“ in the menu and double-click on the desired email account. Then activate the checkbox „Put emails that the user sends to himself in his inbox“.

Bank information: Account wording to match account holder and IBAN
Since 9 October 2025, banks have been required to match the payee with the specified IBAN to ensure that the transfer goes to the correct account holder. This new regulation is based on EU Regulation 2024/886 and is intended to better protect consumers from fraud and incorrect transfers. For this purpose, the exact account wording can be deposited with the company’s bank details.

Note:
Depending on the settings, the form may contain different fields, but the account wording appears directly below the bank name. If you have any further questions on this topic, please contact your SOL-IT contact person.

Radial Menu as a Standard Feature
The Radial Menu is now a standard feature in the SOL-IT Cubes. For example, it is displayed as a „cube icon“ in the lower right area of the list for the assigned objects. By clicking on the symbol, various actions for the new creation as well as functions for selected objects are offered. For example, in the case of assigned addresses, the different options for creating new addresses (address types) can be used.

The radial menu is active by default, but can be disabled per user via the Tools / Options / General / More Options menu.

Note:
The radial menu is not available for all object types. If the object type is not supported, the radial menu on the form is also not visible.

View of e-mail messages: Show the trust level of the sender

When viewing e-mail messages, a new column „Sender trust level“ can be inserted.
In this way, it can be seen whether the sender’s e-mail address is known within the SOL-IT cubes.

– Yellow icon: The sender domain is known, but not the address.

– Red icon: Address and sender domain are unknown.
In the view, this information is also displayed as a tooltip including action options when hovering over the icon.
Note:
The column is not automatically visible in views such as Inbox.
A user with the appropriate authorization for the administration of the standard views can add the column „Sender Trust Level“ to the standard views as type „Icon“ and save it as the default view.

Other extensive additional functions (features) can be licensed and obtained from us for a small cost component. You are welcome to request detailed descriptions and offers at vertrieb@sol-it.at.

„SOL-IT App: Projects“ – the new companion for on the go
„SOL-IT App: Projects“ is the mobile contact point for various central functions in the company.
The app allows you to manage projects, project activities, and contacts. In the project-related context, images and documents can also be loaded into the SOL-IT Cubes® with the app. Furthermore, Cubes messages and e-mails can be viewed and efficiently processed via the app.
Upcoming tasks can be updated and/or completed in „SOL-IT App: Projects“. Of course, the app takes into account the assignments of the objects to each other, and existing objects can be provided with new assignments if necessary.
Other functions such as time recording or order processing can be activated on request and are marked in the documentation with the note „Additional feature“.
Note:
Which users can use which functions can be controlled via authorizations or roles in the SOL-IT cubes®.

Power Content Cache (PCC) for maximum performance
The additional feature „Power Content Cache (PCC)“ is used to optimize the performance and response speed when displaying, filtering and searching large amounts of data within the SOL-IT cubes®. It is used for specific, predefined object types (such as emails, documents, tasks, or cube messages) in selected projects. To use PCC, a separate view must be defined for each object type. This is used to display the data cached by PCC.
Note:
The settings for PCC apply company-wide, changes can only be made by administrators.
Depending on the amount of data, initialization may take some time.

Pins ’n‘ Plans – digital recording of errors and defects
Pins ’n‘ Plans enables the mobile documentation of anomalies, errors and deviations directly on the construction site. Each problem can be located directly on the corresponding plan in the form of a pin with photos,
description, location and person responsible. Each pin is automatically assigned to a specific project or component (and optionally to a specific level).
The total amount of pins can be displayed or filtered for each project in a separatelist view. In this way, it can be quickly determined which pins are still in progress and which are still pending. In addition, Pins ’n‘ Plans offers a dashboard in which the created pins are graphically prepared with their processing status for each project.
Note:
Users who want to work with Pins ’n‘ Plans need appropriate permissions. These can be assigned in the SOL-IT Cubes at project level by the respective project managers
